What to expect with Dog and Cat Boarding at Tail Wag-Inn!
Our dog boarders are kenneled, not caged!

Tail Wag-Inn knows that it is important for you to find a dog or cat boarding, or daycare facility, that will give your pet the individual care and attention that they get at home.
Placing your boarding as our first priority has resulted in many repeat customers.
We provide "pet sitting" for a few hours or for your extended vacations.
If you live in the Portland metro area or are from out of town, and are visiting one of Yamhill County's local attractions or plan to be out of town on vacation or a business trip, you can count on us to provide exceptional care for your pet.
Preparations for Boarding at Tail Wag-Inn
Pets can sense your anxiety, so your being calm and comfortable helps them feel a sense of comfort. Try to relax and enjoy your getaway!
Remember, your pet is in good hands, is enjoying a new outing, and will probably receive as much or even more attention than they normally would at home!
Don't overfeed your pet prior to boarding or going on a trip. This can result in an upset stomach since pets can become excited when they are leaving home or riding in a car.
If you pet suffers from "separation anxiety," you may consider short overnight stays at the pet resort prior to an extended stay.
Tail Wag-Inn Charges
Daily dog boarding is $26.00. Cat boarding is $15.00. All pet guests will be charged for the arrival day of boarding regardless of drop off time. If your pet is picked up by 12:00pm on the day of departure, you will not be charged for that day’s boarding. For multiple dog families, we offer a $5.00 discount for every pet after the first. For multiple cat families we offer a $2.00 discount.
We have "Kitty Condos" for your feline companions.
Our Kitty Condos are in a completely temperature controlled indoor cattery. Your pet will enjoy first class amenities while in our care.
Tail Wag-Inn offers a safe and tranquil home-away-from-home where feline guests enjoy their own two-or-more-room accommodations.
As a rule, kittens adapt easily to boarding and exploring their new surroundings.
Adult cats prefer to quietly "observe" daily happenings as they would in a window at home.
Vaccinations:
In the best interest of all boarders, we require proof of current vaccinations including for dogs: Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP. For cats, we require Feline Leukemia and the FVRCP.
You may either bring in the vaccination records with you or have your veterinarian fax them to us at (503) 554-1542.
Food:
If your pet is on a special diet, please bring your own food and any special feeding instructions. Otherwise, we provide a high-quality, nutritionally balanced Diamond Brand dog food.

Allison and the gang at Tail-Wag Inn, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the TLC you provide to "The Bakewell Crew".
You always seem to have room in the kennel and room in your hearts for them.
I know they can be a handful because they are used to roaming 27 acres and are quite excitable (Beauty and Dude). Everyone comes home content and well cared for.
Thank you for your service. Take care and have a great day!
Love,
The Bakewell Crew
George, Teri, and Anastasia,
Beauty, Dude, Buddy, Doughnut, and Alley-Cat
